Bright Beginning Special School was founded by three sisters, whose shared vision was to create a place where children with special needs could truly thrive.
The journey began when one of the founders’ child was diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Together with her sister, an educator with a background in special needs, they realized that the available centres in Mombasa did not fully address the child’s developmental and learning needs.

Driven by love, dedication, and a deep sense of purpose, the sisters decided to build a centre that would bridge that gap, a place where every child, regardless of ability, would be seen, supported, and celebrated.
Their dream took shape as Bright Beginning Special School, a beacon of hope and inclusion for families across the Coast region.
